How's your 2008 going? Check out this fantastic New Year's omen: when I woke up this morning, I saw that the DWI Dude left a comment answering the question I asked him back in August. I checked my stats log, and it turns out he was busy Googling himself at 1:30 a.m., the drunkest time of the drunkest night of the drunkest month of the whole drunk year. I'd think a DWI lawyer would have better things to do right about then, but hey, there's no questioning his commitment to education.
Eric gave me a very fast and fine laptop for Christmas this year. I'm so excited about my newfound computer mobility that I almost wrote this post while sitting on the toilet just because I can, but I decided that would be unwieldy and possibly dangerous. I'm sitting at the dining room table right now instead...at least as far as you know.
Well, this has sure been fun, but now I need to go and give a mimosa my undivided attention. This the first January 1 in recent memory that I haven't spent sleeping, weeping, or seeping, but I'm still feeling a bit dissipated tonight. Happy new year!
