Cat asked for a review of my kiddie button maker. So here it is:
Pros: It's very easy to use, and it crimps the buttons up nice and tight.
Cons: It's plastic and feels as though it could easily break if you're not careful with it. Also the pins are a little larger than the tiny inch ones that everyone loves. But most of all, I hate the pins in back, which are just little safety pins barely wedged in a plastic base.
Whatever. It was only like 25 bucks. If I can get it to work with refill pins that have better backs, it'll be worth it. I don't want to buy the super-fancy expensive kind until I'm sure I'm going to use it a lot.
