As I may have mentioned, I went to Rochester last week to visit my friends and had a great time.
I stayed in the big-ass cool old house Vickie and her boyfriend(!) just rented.
Monday we went to the cute amusement park on Lake Ontario and rode the spinny throw-up rides.
(You can click on any of the pictures if you want to see them a little better.)
Valerie is a skee-ball wizard. She also has a lovely new baby, Olivia.
My favorite part about Olivia is her ever-protruding tongue.
My least favorite part about Olivia is her ability to spew a 98.6-degree mixture of formula and stomach acid out of her mouth with deadly accuracy.
The next day Vickie and I celebrated Take Your Dork-Ass Friend to Work Day. Vickie has a cool job: she's a curator for a group of small art galleries around the city. We drove around town and curated the shit out of some art for a few hours.
Then we went back to Vickie's office, where I tried very hard not to distract her because she had a lot of work to do.
We hung around Rochester for a few days, talking, doodling, making fun of the local news, babysitting, eating, condemning the ferry company, and chainsmoking on Vickie's excellent balcony. We also made each other laugh very hard. That's because we are the funniest people in the world when we hang out together.
